ICODental Group strives to be an innovative solution provider to the dental industry in North America with a mission to reduce cost barriers of digital dentistry and maximize ROI for our dentists with a wide range of online and offline services. As the core of our team, a group of seasoned dentists has experimented with and practiced digital dentistry since 2000. Although our team experienced some success along the way, they mainly realized two main barriers to a revolutionary digitalization in the dental industry: high procurement cost of digital equipment and their learning curve. Therefore, iCODental was born with one goal only, which is to conquer those barriers and hand over satisfactory digital solutions to our dentist clients.
To begin the journey, we work very hard to select many high quality but cost effective digital solutions, then introduce them to the North America market. Xpectvision’s photon-counting sensor, the first in the world, is a great example. Photon-counting is an emerging technology in clinical CT which can fulfill today’s demands for a cost-effective solution that meets stringent technical requirements. Xpectvision is the world’s first to apply this new technology to intraoral dental sensors. The result is consistently superior image quality with cost savings of nearly 50%. iCODental has worked with Xpectvision to successfully implement hundreds of cases in the country within a very short timeframe.
